Quality audit

Third-party artificial turf inspection for US and EU buyers sourcing from Vietnam

US and European importers need an independent party at the Vietnamese factory. TSV inspects your turf order against the contract spec and FIFA Quality, EN 15330 and ASTM test methods, and sends a bilingual photo report before the goods leave port, so claims are settled in Vietnam, not after arrival in Long Beach or Rotterdam.

Why we catch what a general inspector misses

We did not start as inspectors. We started by buying raw artificial-turf rolls and turning them into golf mats, interlocking tiles and interior turf for offices and meeting rooms. Cutting, gluing, laying and selling the product for years taught us where it fails in the hands of an end user, and those failures rarely show up on a spec sheet.

Backing that passes weight but fails the knife. Latex that is on-spec by grams per m² can still be under-cured or thin at the roll edges. We cut and peel, because that is where our tiles used to delaminate.
Colour and pile-direction drift between rolls. Two rolls from the same lot can shade differently once laid side by side. We lay sample lengths together under daylight instead of trusting the roll label.
Thatch and infill behaviour, not just pile height. We know how a 35 mm landscape pile looks after a month of foot traffic, and whether the thatch will hold it up.
Packing that survives a 40ft reefer-free voyage to Los Angeles. Core diameter, wrap, and how rolls are stacked decide whether the product arrives flat or creased.

Our people also work in Vietnamese, so nothing is lost between your spec and the line supervisor. A general inspection agency sends a checklist; we send someone who has been on the buying side of this exact product.

What is the minimum order for artificial turf?

Typically one 40ft HC container (about 4,000–5,500 m² / 4,800–6,500 yd² depending on pile height). Smaller trial orders of mixed rolls can be arranged by LCL. A4 swatches are free.

Do you quote face weight and pile height in US units?

Yes. Pile height in inches and face weight in oz/yd² alongside mm and g/m², with roll widths of 12 ft or 15 ft on request.

What does a turf export inspection include?

Pile height, Dtex, stitch rate, pile and total weight, tuft bind, UV colour fastness, backing coating, roll dimensions, visual defects, labels and container loading, reported bilingually with photos against your contract spec and FIFA, EN 15330 or ASTM methods.
